A post-doctoral fellowship position is available immediately in the lab of Dr. Sarah McDonald at the Virginia Tech Carilion Research Institute, Roanoke, VA. Work in the McDonald lab is focused on the replication strategies and evolutionary dynamics of rotaviruses, which are segmented, dsRNA viruses and important gastrointestinal pathogens of young children. Candidates for this position must have a Ph.D. degree in virology, microbiology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field (by their start date).
