Postdoctoral positions to study the molecular mechanism of Werner syndrome protein function at telomeres

A Postdoctoral Researcher position is available to study the function of the Werner Syndrome protein (WRN) at human telomere using an in vitro reconstituted system. The project involves the use of an innovative approach that requires biochemical skills and a strong interest in developing assays to investigate the molecular mechanisms of WRN function at telomeres.

Prior experience in biochemical analysis of protein function using cell-free systems and record of publications in peer-reviewed journals is required.

Our lab is located at the Institute for Genetic Medicine (IGM) of the USC Keck School of Medicine. IGM offers an interactive scientific environment and interdisciplinary approach to biomedical research, which encourages innovation and discovery.
