Job Description Post-doctoral Positions: University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Research Field: Chromatin Function, Stem Cells & Cancer Disciplines: Epigenetics, Cancer Genetics, and Cell & Molecular Biology Postdoctoral positions are immediately available. These positions offer an extraordinary opportunity to study epigenetic mechanisms and chromatin functions in aspects of cancer and stem cell biology. On the basis of the studies that have provided novel insights into chromatin and epigenetic field (Nature, 2005; Cell, 2007; Science, 2007), our work has been extended to understand the roles of histone methylation/demethylation in tumor suppression pathways/cancer development and stem cell differentiation. We enjoy a close working relationship with many excellent groups in our institute and other prestigious institutes in Texas Medical Center. A Ph.D. in Cancer Biology, Cancer Genetics, and Molecular Biology is required. Fresh postdocs with experience and publications in breast and prostate cancer biology and/or stem cell biology are preferred. Those with experience in orthotopic and/or conditional knockout mouse models for breast and prostate cancer study are strongly encouraged to apply for these positions. Salary will be determined by the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
