We seek highly motivated individuals with excellent technical and communication skills to work with Molly Duman-Scheel in an NIH-funded research collaboration with David W. Severson. Current research projects in our laboratories focus on analysis of the developmental biology of vector mosquitoes, with emphasis on the development of tissues of vector importance (olfactory system, salivary gland). The successful candidate will have the opportunity to interact with many talented vector biologists in the Eck Institute for Global Health at Notre Dame. A background in developmental biology, evolutionary development, vector mosquito biology, arthropod biology, neurobiology, genetics, or genomics is desirable. Funds are available immediately.
