The Physics Department at Universidad de los Andes, Colombia, has an immediate opening for a postdoctoral researcher in experimental quantum optics. The initial term will be for one year, with optional renewal for a second year based on performance.

The successful candidate will join our activities in research areas such as quantum information, nonlinear optics, foundations of quantum mechanics, and generation of single photons

Qualified candidates should hold a Ph.D. degree in physics, engineering or related areas with a proven record of peer-reviewed publications.

The fellowship will be based at Universidad de los Andes but active involvement in the international collaborations of the group will require international traveling.
